I was bitten by the <a href="http://instagram.com/">Instagram</a> bug a little over a year ago. Since then I have discovered a whole new world of amazing nail artists, Indie polish makers and fabulous Nail Mail buddies. I have been inspired by so many, and I have this simple little app to thank. It really is amazing, and addicting!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yesterday I received a fabulous package from my California nail mail bestie, Shelby... You can follow her <a href="http://instagram.com/kaleidescopenails">here</a> on Instagram. She shares my love for nail polish (and big, fluffy kitties). Here is the loot I received</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzHILhQs23B5xxKxb4zsRsunU2W37Rwnygmam_Q6VovZRv-TysiHtxrjwRwtJxsTu1FsDtltLCeUosX71QignCWoizY4IoOTlezXWoTHYOOsa8TckfP6MKt_vwfm0tsVwYeOcLnG2Ul1hf/s1600/IMG_1148.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzHILhQs23B5xxKxb4zsRsunU2W37Rwnygmam_Q6VovZRv-TysiHtxrjwRwtJxsTu1FsDtltLCeUosX71QignCWoizY4IoOTlezXWoTHYOOsa8TckfP6MKt_vwfm0tsVwYeOcLnG2Ul1hf/s320/IMG_1148.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She seriously spoils me rotten with every box she sends. It's amazing!! With all of these new little pretties staring at me I needed to try some out. I decided to go with the Domestic Goddess by Sephora by OPI and Shambolic by Butter London.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I figured the glitter would be on the sheer side (as glitters usually are) so I used the Sephora color as "undies." It worked perfectly!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvEh_9MPFwNzlvYp3Z0jGziWgSEVX1FGMP39mTpBfbKmj5ut9BAoiY7iMuDHrMyeTHQMyv2vnSSSTS4dLrT22PPoIrknC1XzI-nzhtYiFyiLkx_PqV00OvUZAZpRjUCDRQ746nqxOwpFJl/s1600/IMG_1151.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvEh_9MPFwNzlvYp3Z0jGziWgSEVX1FGMP39mTpBfbKmj5ut9BAoiY7iMuDHrMyeTHQMyv2vnSSSTS4dLrT22PPoIrknC1XzI-nzhtYiFyiLkx_PqV00OvUZAZpRjUCDRQ746nqxOwpFJl/s320/IMG_1151.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this glitter! It was a little sheer and it was good to have the
purple base. The colors in the glitter are amazing However, the weather
here is terrible so it was hard to get a really good photo of the
glitteriness... Is that even a word? I did one coat of the Domestic Goddess, one coat of Shambolic and topped it all off with Seche Vite.<br />
<br />
For those of you who, like me, avoid glitter polishes because of what a hassle it is to remove them... I have a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO_SuwsKtkc">YouTube </a>video by <a href="http://mod-nails.com/">Mod Nails</a> that will change your life... Seriously!! It has changed mine. Check it out!!!</div>

This is my first post on my Beauty Blog. This "blogging" thing is very new to me, so bear with me while I figure it all out. As a major nail polish addict and a lover of beauty products, I figured this was the best way to review the products I use and post nail art tutorials. So, here is the first review of the blog...</div>

Textured polishes are all the rage right now and I was dying to get my hands on some. So, when I was at <a href="http://www.sallybeauty.com/">Sally Beauty Supply</a> last month and saw the display for <a href="http://chinaglaze.com/">China Glaze</a>'s Texture polishes I was giddy! I picked up Of Coarse! (blue) and Bump & Grind (pink). I wasn't sure what I would think of the texture. I have always favored shiny, smooth manicures, so I wasn't sure if I would like these. To say that I love this polish is an understatement! I am kicking myself that I didn't buy the entire collection. (I guess I will be making a trip to Sally's this weekend) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The texture is perfect. Not rough and gritty, as I was afraid it would be. It was smooth yet textured; if that makes any sense. They had great wear too. I wore them for 4 days with no chips and hardly any tip wear. I hated to take this polish off and I will be wearing it again soon. The formula and coverage is perfect. This is shown in two coats in the photo above. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you like the textured polishes or are still on the fence about trying them I recommend China Glaze's Texture polishes. </div>
